1991

A company named Omega Pilzno Godawski & Godawski, based in the Podkarpacie province, southeast Poland, begins its transport business by working with individual haulers providing transport services within Poland - until 1994.

 
1995
The company continues to change, attracting more and more customers and winning their trust. This allows the company to invest in modern technical facilities, which results in considerable profits, helps to strengthen its market position and enables it to begin operating internationally.


1996

Thanks to its success in the European market, Omega Pilzno Godawski & Godawski extends its business and implements a freight forwarding system. As a result, the company begins cooperation with TC Dębica, a well-known Polish tyre manufacturer.

 
1997 – 1999

Omega Pilzno continues to grow and extend its technical facilities, now with two Volvo (110 cubic m) and 13 Dyrkacz-Sanok semi-trailer trucks.

 
Aug.1999

A very important year for the company. Thanks to its dedication to meeting customers’ needs, Omega Pilzno profited from the prestige of Goodyear, Germany, and began doing business with them.

 

2000-2005

Omega makes considerable investments, becomes part of the EU market and wins contracts to deliver freight between EU countries, excluding Poland. The company is certified to the ISO 9001:200 standard, wins a "Fair Play Business" award, a "Reliable Business" honourable mention, as well as "Market Leader" and Euro Leader 2005 awards. The company becomes a sponsor of a regional branch of the Polish Logistics Association, providing university students with an opportunity to write their master’s theses based on an analysis of the company’s operation. 

 

 

2005-2006

Omega Pilzno opens an Authorised VOLVO Truck Service Centre.

The company continues to extend its infrastructure by building a parking area for as many as 200 semi-trailer trucks.

In 2007, PPPKS Rzeszów, a private transport company in which Omega acquires a majority stake, joins the Omega Pilzno Group. To come closer to its customers, Omega opens new offices in Krakow and Zabrze. 
 

Omega Pilzno opens an Authorised VOLVO Truck Service Centre. The company continues to extend its infrastructure by building a parking area for as many as 200 semi-trailer trucks. 2007-2008  

Omega Pilzno Godawski & Godawski makes considerable investments to ensure its continued growth. By now, the company’s fleet consists of 559 road tractors and 544 semi-trailers.


An important milestone in the company’s development comes in the first quarter of 2008, when Omega begins the construction of Podkarpacie Logistics Park, a facility with the target area of 70 000 sq metres (17 000 sq metres in the first stage of the project) and opens a Customs & Port Agency in Gdynia, Poland.
